PEBBLE MANAGER
Terms of Service
Effective September 9, 2026
These Terms govern use of Pebble Manager and its customer-facing companion, Pebble Coffee (together, “Pebble”). By creating an account, connecting a customer account, placing an order, or using Pebble, you agree to these Terms.
Purpose of the service
Pebble provides tools for managing a small coffee cart, including menus, inventory, expenses, informal customer tabs, orders, notifications, and optional calendar synchronization. Pebble is not a bank, payment processor, accounting service, tax adviser, or guaranteed recordkeeping system.
Accounts and authorized use
You must provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and use only accounts and coffee carts you are authorized to access. Customer invitation codes are private and should be shared only with the intended recipient. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
Orders, tabs, and payments
Order availability, prices, cancellation rules, and fulfillment are determined by the coffee-cart manager. Regular friend accounts use informal tabs and the existing Venmo payment workflow. Pebble Coffee Chats uses separate retail prices and Square card payments at checkout. The payment review shows the items, sales tax, and total before payment. Coffee Chat accounts require a confirmed email address. Receipts are emailed to the account email, and itemized receipts remain available in your account.
Canceling an eligible paid Coffee Chat order requests a Square refund. Refunds may take time to process, and a canceled order is not itself confirmation that money has been returned. Check the receipt for refund status and contact the manager if a refund needs attention. Customers and managers should resolve product-quality, allergy, and fulfillment questions directly with each other.
Menu and ingredient information is entered by the manager and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Pebble is not a source of medical, dietary, or allergen advice.
Google Calendar
The optional Google Calendar feature creates and manages a dedicated secondary order calendar after the manager grants permission. It does not grant Pebble access to Gmail or existing calendars. Calendar events may include customer names, items, pickup times, notes, and order status.
You may disconnect Calendar access through Pebble settings or revoke it through your Google Account. Google Calendar is a third-party service governed by Google’s terms. Pebble cannot guarantee the availability, timing, or continued operation of Google services.
Notifications
Push notifications are optional and may be delayed, duplicated, or unavailable because of browser, device, network, or provider behavior. Users should rely on the current order information shown inside Pebble when making time-sensitive decisions.
Acceptable use
You may not use Pebble to break the law, access another person’s data without permission, distribute harmful code, interfere with the service, evade security controls, send abusive notifications, or collect information for an unrelated purpose. Automated abuse, credential sharing, and attempts to discover another user’s private invitation code are prohibited.
Your content and responsibilities
You retain responsibility for information you enter into Pebble. You confirm that you have permission to enter customer names, order details, and other personal information and to place appropriate order information on a connected calendar. Do not enter sensitive information that is unnecessary for coffee-cart operations.
Availability, backups, and changes
Pebble may change, experience interruptions, or stop operating without notice. Although the app includes local caching, cloud synchronization, and export tools, users remain responsible for keeping any backups they require. Features may depend on Supabase, Google, GitHub Pages, browser push services, internet access, and other third-party systems.
Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, Pebble is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or preservation of data. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the project operator is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of Pebble, including lost records, missed orders, calendar or notification failures, inventory discrepancies, or disputes between managers and customers.
Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended or terminated when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or data, or when these Terms are violated. You may stop using Pebble at any time. Disconnect Google Calendar and contact the project operator if you also want associated cloud records deleted.
Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated as Pebble changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when material updates are made. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
